Fresh green tails of soft green seed heads that look like flower ropes, Amaranthus ‘Green Cascade’ is something very special!
I absolutely love Amaranthus growing lots of it for Late Summer and Autumn Weddings. It is the perfect vase filler to compliment Dahlia’s giving drama to both bouquets and table arrangements.
Perfect for the beginner gardener Amaranthus is easy to grow and provide excellent as garden or allotment decoration. Amaranthus ‘Green Cascade’ will go with everything!
Amaranthus comes in many colours, and you can find more of my favourites listed here in the Spring Seed shop!
How to grow
Don’t start Amaranthus too early, these half hardy plants cannot be planted until all risk of frost has passed. Sow under cover in mid spring and plant out after the last frosts, or direct sow early May… For more detailed growing instructions join our ‘Grow Along’ on Instagram
