Ammi visnaga

Ammi visnaga,  also known as Queen Anne’s Lace ‘Green Mist’

Chunkier than Ammi majus, the same lacy, white flowers, but is bigger and bolder!

Towering at over 6ft tall it looks great planted en-masse. I love mixing it with Ammi Majus for added texture!

One of the best cut flowers for early summer, we use every single stem in our buckets and bouquets…

I find it grows best from an early Autumn or very early Spring sowing.

Variety: Ammi visnaga
Type: Hardy Annual
Position: Full sun in free draining soil.
Sow: Spring or Autumn
Germination: Up to 30 days
Harvest: May/June – July

Cutting /Vase Life:
Cut when almost all of the flowers on a stem are open. If harvested much earlier, the stems have a tendency to wilt.

Place flowers straight into ready buckets of water. We rest our stems for a few hours in water, this is called conditioning.
