Cornflower ‘Ball Mixed’
Also known as Bachelor’s Buttons. This is the best tallest mix I have found bringing a welcome splash of colour to the garden or allotment.
Often the mixes are much shorter than the straight Blue, not this one!
Cornflower ‘Ball Mixed’ features my favourite Cornflower ‘Black Ball’. So if like me, you can’t decide then this selection is for you!
Perfect for the beginner, Cornflowers are very useful for floristry standing up well out of water as the common name suggests.
Cornflowers bloom over a long period perfectly complimenting other hardy annuals such as Orlaya grandiflora, Sweet Rocket, Ammi Majus and Sweetpeas…
I find it grows best from an early Autumn or very early Spring sowing. For more detailed growing instructions join our ‘Grow Along’ on Instagram
