Cornflower ‘Ball Mixed’
Also known as Bachelor’s Buttons. This is the best tallest mix I have found bringing a welcome splash of colour to the garden or allotment.
Often the mixes are much shorter than the straight Blue, not this one!
Cornflower ‘Ball Mixed’ features Cornflowers in shades of blue, black, beautiful pinks and lilac. So if like me, you can’t decide then this selection is for you!
Cornflowers are perfect for the beginner and stand up well out of water. They bloom over a long period and perfectly compliment other hardy annuals such as Orlaya grandiflora, Sweet Rocket, Ammi Majus and Sweetpeas…
How to Grow:
Sow direct or into individual cells either in Autumn and early Spring. For the best results allow plants time to grow before the Summer heat pushes them into bloom. Provide support for nice straight stems and deadhead regularly to promote further blooms to appear. For more detailed growing instructions join our ‘Grow Along’ on Instagram
