Dahlia ‘Totally Tangerine’
I still remember the first time I saw Dahlia ‘Totally Tangerine’. It was in the main Floral Marquee at RHS Hampton Court. I was captivated by the unusual Anemone shaped flowers.
A top class plant for the smaller garden, Dahlia ‘Totally Tangerine’ is just 60 cm so looks perfect at the front of the border and even in a pot. I like to place mine right by the back door.
Because of the open shape Dahlia ‘Totally Tangerine’ will be smothered with Bee’s and Butterflies all summer long. Its a perfect choice for the Wildlife Garden.
We knew we would never have enough tubers to split for everyone that wanted one, so I have asked our supplier to provide me with a some extra tubers on my order so that I can share them with you.
Once you have one I know you are going to treasure it!

Cutting /Vase Life:
For the best vase life pick Dahlia ‘Totally Tangerine’ as soon as flowers open (before the pollen has set) once the flowers have been pollinated the petals tend to drop. Deadhead flowers to give plants back the energy to ripen the next flower rather than work on producing seed.
Place flowers straight into ready buckets of water, we rest our blooms for a few hours in water, this is called conditioning.
